Returning Student Registration Process

We are excited to welcome our returning families back to the Linn-Mar Community School District for the school year. Taking the time to update your student’s information will help ensure you have the tools and resources you need throughout the year.Online registration for the upcoming school year begins the first week of August.

Using the eRegistration link above, parents will log into their PowerSchool account and complete eRegistration to register their returning student for the upcoming academic year.
  • From the navigation menu, click on FORMS and then the ENROLLMENT tab.
  • Please be sure to complete and submit each form, even if the information has not changed.
  • Repeat this process for any additional students by clicking on their name in the upper left corner.

My child is going to start preschool. Where can I learn more about this program?

This is an exciting time for your child, and we welcome you and your child to our district. You can learn more about Little Lions Preschool registration and registration information for Junior Kindergarten in other sections of our website.

 


What forms are required to be completed for registration?

Most forms needed to register students who have previously been enrolled at Linn-Mar will be available by completing the eRegistration process through PowerSchool.

While most forms required as part of the student enrollment process are available in PowerSchool, our district or building staff may request that other forms be completed due to specific circumstances or are only required at a specific time. Some of these forms are listed below as a convenience to our families. Please note that these forms do not need to be completed as part of the registration process unless you are directed to them by a member of our Linn-Mar staff.

Where can I find the school supply lists?

Is my student eligible for free and reduced lunch prices?

The application for free and reduced meals is available through PowerSchool during registration process. You’ll also find answers to many of your questions about free and reduced-price school meals in this document. Additionally, here are other forms related to free and reduced price meals that you might find helpful.

 


Who can I contact with additional questions?

During the summer months when many buildings have reduced staffing, you can contact the district by emailing info@linnmar.k12.ia.us. During the academic year you can contact staff in our buildings for additional assistance
