Wrestlers Perform Well at State

Linn-Mar Senior Tate Naaktgeboren brought home the first place title in class 3-A at 170 pounds at the State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines.

Tate’s younger brother Kane Naaktgeboren and Brayden Parke took third in the state in their weight divisions. Malik Debow, Grant Kress, and Luke Gaffney were 7th in their rounds.

In the team standings, Linn-Mar took 7th overall.

Head Coach Doug Streicher and the Linn-Mar Coaching Staff were named Class 3A coaches of the year.
