Voters Approve PPEL Renewal

Dear Staff and Families,

We want to thank our entire community for your consideration of the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) that was on the ballot on Tuesday, March 5. Preliminary results indicate that the measure was approved by 74% of voters.

This outcome means the Linn-Mar Community School District can continue to levy PPEL funds for an additional 10 years, through June of 2035, to address a variety of infrastructure and equipment needs   

• School security improvements
• Technology purchases
• Repairing and placing roofs
• Maintaining our HVAC systems
• Replacing school buses
• Additional key facility projects

We look forward to sharing more information and updates on these projects as we move forward. In the meantime, thank you again for your support of our schools and the students we serve!
