Volleyball Advances at State!

The Linn-Mar Volleyball Team is advancing at the State Tournament!

For the second year in a row, our Lions defeated the Jefferson J-Hawks in the first round of the tournament. We won the first match, Jefferson won the second, and we won the next two for the 3 to 1 win.

Our girls now face number one ranked Cedar Falls Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Class 5A Semifinals. The game will be played on court one at the U-S Cellular Center.

The winner will take on Ankeny Centennial or West Des Moines Valley in the Championship game on Friday.

Any students planning to attend the event MUST have their parents call the attendance office. 9th & 10th grades: 319-447-3050; 11th and 12th grades 319-447-3046. It is asked that parents contact the attendance offices as soon as possible.
