Sweet Reward!

Administrators, counselors, and other staff members had the opportunity to become dessert servers at Excelsior Middle School. It was part of “the deal” as students were treated to ice cream and additional toppings at lunch. The sweet treats were a hard-earned reward after the students completed a challenge to obtain a pre-determined number of PBIS points last month.

The PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) encourages and rewards good behavior throughout the school year.

Buildings across the district come up with creative individual and team activities to accomplish similar success.
