Superintendent Shepherd Named Head of School District in Texas

Linn-Mar Community School District Superintendent Dr. Quintin Shepherd has been selected as the next superintendent of Victoria Independent School District in Victoria, Texas.

Linn-Mar is sad to learn and share the news of Dr. Shepherd’s departure yet grateful to him for his leadership during his tenure with the district.

Shepherd, who became Linn-Mar’s superintendent in 2015, presided over a district with more than 1,100 employees and an enrollment of more than 7,700 students.

In the coming weeks, the school district will share its plans and next steps to appoint a new superintendent. We look forward to the opportunity to find a great leader to help us continue living our vision to inspire learning, unlock potential and empower achievement.
