Success Center Gets A New Home

Even as the finishing touches are being made, you can already visualize the exciting changes coming to the new Linn-Mar Success Center.

The Success Center serves students from ages 18 to 21 that continue to be eligible for student support services. Students focus on skills that are necessary for independent living, vocational experiences, community involvement, and academics to support their journey into adulthood and the workplace.

The new location, near the intersection of C Avenue and Boyson Road, is expected to offer the students new job training opportunities through cooperative efforts with nearby businesses.

Added space is a major plus at the new Linn-Mar Success Center

The new Success Center features additional kitchen space and an improved dining area for lunch preparation. There are laundry facilities and a simulated grocery store for lifeskills training. Another separate area provides space for class discussion and a computer lab.
