Special Olympians Compete in Iowa Winter Games

Let’s hear it for Linn-Mar’s Special Olympians!

The team had perfect weather for some great competition in Dubuque during the 2018 Special Olympics Iowa Winter Games. Four athletes participated in downhill skiing and 17 took part in the snowshoe events.

The team won plenty of medals in the 100 and 200 meter dashes, snowshoe relays and in skiing. Coach Halverson and Coach Hoffa are extremely proud of all their athletes!
