School Board Honors Officer Daubs

We want to take this opportunity to recognize the dedication of our Linn-Mar School Resource Officer (SRO) Tom Daubs of the Marion Police Department. At its February 20th meeting the Linn-Mar School Board President, Brittania Morey, read a proclamation in conjunction with National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day.

The National Association of School Resource Officers designated February 15th as a day to recognize the valuable work of school resource officers. The organization defines SROs as carefully selected, specifically trained, sworn law enforcement officers assigned by an employing law enforcement agency to work with schools using community-oriented policing concepts.

Officer Daubs is all that and so much more!

We salute the work of Officer Daubs and the rapport he has with our students, teachers, and staff throughout the district.
