Saluting Our Veterans at Hazel Point

Hazel Point students and staff recognized Veterans Day with their annual assembly which included several special guests this year.

Members of the American Legion began our assembly with the presentation of colors.  Also, retired band director, Kevin Makinster, returned to lead the assembly and play Taps.

Every year, the Hazel Point community honors their loved ones who have served or are currently serving by displaying their name and pictures on a Veterans Wall at the front entrance of the building. This has become a special tradition for the Hazel Point community to thank and honor our Veterans!
