“Roar Like a Lion” Pre-Registration Open House Event on Jan. 30
The Linn-Mar Community School District will hold a Pre-Registration Open House on January 30 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. for families interested in enrolling their children in preschool, junior kindergarten, or kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. The event will take place at all Linn-Mar elementary schools.
During the open house event, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to take a brief tour and pre-register their child for Linn-Mar’s early childhood programs. No advanced RSVPs are required, and families are encouraged to share the event details with others who may be interested.
Families that have a kindergarten student or are new to the district can provide us with the following documents during the open house (or a later date):
- Proof of residency (purchase agreement, rental agreement, bill mailed to your current address.)
- Proof of birth (birth certificate, hospital birth certificate, baptism record, certified/signed statement from physician, immunization record with birthdate, adoption record.)
Junior Kindergarten Pre-Registration for 2025-26 opens January 30!
Families interested in having a child attend a junior kindergarten can now sign up for a junior kindergarten screening time.
- Monday, February 10th from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Thursday, February 13th from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
Kindergarten Pre-Registration for 2025-26 opens January 30!
Families interested in having a child attend kindergarten at Linn-Mar can pre-register beginning January 30.
Little Lions Preschool Pre-Registration for 2025-26 opens January 30!
Families interested in having a child attend preschool can start the process by signing up here. A lottery system will be used to determine placements in our programs.
