Return to Learn Parent Survey Results
The Iowa Department of Education directed each school to create a Return to Learn Plan in preparation for the 2020-21 school year. In early July, we asked families to fill out a Parent Survey with the main purpose to gauge the general interest in the three models of learning that were proposed: On-Site Learning, Hybrid Learning and Online Learning. Additionally, we wanted to collect data on how many families would not feel comfortable returning to school and as well as their concerns.
The Parent Survey results were used in conjunction with information and guidance we received from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Linn County Public Health, Iowa Department of Education, American Academy of Pediatrics and many school districts across Iowa, to create Linn-Mar’s Return to Learn plan. Below are the results from the Parent Survey.
