Preschool and ECBP Registration 2021-2022

Little Lions Preschool Registration

Registration for the 2021-2022 Little Lions Preschool Program will be open on February 1, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. CT.

Registration fills up quickly! Once the registration is submitted, parents will receive an immediate follow-up email from Linn-Mar with directions to fill out additional paperwork that will be needed to officially complete preschool registration. Registration will be held online and can be completed in your own home, or computers will also be available at the LRC building at 2999 North 10th Street in Marion for those needing assistance for registering their child(ren). Registration will consist of demographic information, child’s date of birth, session and location preference.

In order to enroll in Little Lions Preschool, students need to be four years of age on or before September 15, 2021. Preschool Locations will be at Bowman Woods, Echo Hill, Linn Grove and Wilkins Elementary Schools. Morning Session will be 8:30am-11:15am and the Afternoon session will be 12:15pm-3:00pm.

Early Childhood Blended Program Screening Sign-up

Screening sign-up for the 2021-2022 Early Childhood Blended Program will open on January 11, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. CT.  Parents will immediately receive a follow-up email from Linn-Mar with additional information. Actual screening dates will be scheduled February 19, 2021 through February 23, 2021.

Children that are not ready for standard kindergarten will be screened for our all-day programming in our Early Childhood Blended Program (ECBP). The ECBP program offers a blended approach to learning that includes a mix of early childhood education and elementary education.  Children must turn six years old between March 15, 2022 and September 15, 2022 and must be screened by Linn-Mar staff prior to be enrolled in ECPB (they do not qualify if they turn six years old prior to March 15th 2022). ECBP will be located at Novak Elementary School. A year of ECBP is followed by a year of full day kindergarten.
