Orchestra Students Prepare for All-State
Nearly two dozen LMHS Orchestra students participated in the 2023 All-State Clinic at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. This all-day clinic sponsored by the orchestra faculty at UNI, provided students with both a large group reading of the All-State literature as well as small group instruction broken up by instrument family.
Our students gained wonderful insights on several aspects of their All-State audition, which takes place on Saturday, October 21st! This clinic offered practical tips on how to produce a successful audition as well as detailed information on the music they were playing.
