Oak Ridge Students to be Honored by Iowa Environmental Council

The Oak Ridge LEGO Blasters have been selected by the Iowa Environmental Council to receive the group’s 2018 Youth Innovation Award.

In the letter announcing the selection, the group stated “We could not be more impressed with the design of the water-saving, “Eccomode” and would like to recognize your team at our upcoming Pro H2O event.”

Pro H2O is the Iowa Environmental Council’s annual community awareness event dedicated to celebrating a shared vision for clean water and healthy land in our state.
Last year’s attendees included more than 250 environmentalists, conservationists, business professionals, and community leaders.

This year’s Pro H2O event will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018, from 6:30-9:00 PM at The River Center located at 340 SW 3rd Street in Des Moines.
