Oak Ridge Mathcounts Team Advances to State!

he Oak Ridge Mathcounts Team took first place at the metro area competition at Prairie Point. More than fifty students from around the area qualified for the event, including twelve from Oak Ridge.
After the first three rounds, the top ten individuals were announced, and six were from Oak Ridge!
The top ten students then competed in the Countdown Round. It was won by David Ammons from Oak Ridge.
At the awards ceremony, they presented awards to the individuals and the first place trophy to the Oak Ridge team.
