National Write a Letter of Appreciation Week!

We would like to take this opportunity to write our own letter of appreciation.  To salute all the people who work so very hard to make Linn-Mar a welcoming, encouraging, nurturing, safe, supporting, and caring place for everyone every day.

We say thank you to our bus drivers who take the students to and from school, to the custodians and operations and maintenance workers who make sure the driveways and sidewalks are cleared of ice and snow.

We salute the secretaries, principals, and office staff as they welcome the students, parents, and staff by cheerfully responding to a wide range of questions every day. They always respond with a smile, knowing that questions help us learn.

We appreciate the nutrition services team. They are always ready to provide a complete breakfast and lunch for everyone. We also want to give a shout-out to the nurses, health assistants, and counselors. They make even the toughest days a little better for anyone in need.

The librarians, library assistants, innovation coaches, and technology team. Their work quietly behind-the-scenes assures that everything is running just fine, a necessity in today’s high-tech world.

We thank our facilitators, deans, school resource officer, senior administrators, and board members who earn the respect of the students, staff, and community they serve.

We salute the daily work of our copy center and mailroom, student services, human resources, business office, communications, and community relations.

We can’t forget our paraprofessionals, educational assistants, teachers, teacher leaders, and coaches whose knowledge and compassion for their craft ensures that the next generation is ready to spread their wings beyond the halls at Linn-Mar, to take on the world and make it a better place for all.
