National Volunteer Week
Especially now, we look to the helpers. The medical staff, EMT and firefighters, the truckers, the grocery checker or manager, police and law enforcement and all that play a role in keeping us safe and healthy. We are all grateful to those that continue to go to work in our communities to support us.
But, here at Linn-Mar we have our helpers too! It is our incredible team of volunteers. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of them. Our active Linn-Mar volunteers have made an impact in our schools. Their dedication to our mission is profound. Their support needs to be acknowledged. We want to express how important you are to us. Thank you for volunteering at Linn-Mar Community Schools! We celebrate with you this National Volunteer Week, April 19-25, 2020.
Just as our students and teachers did not get the opportunity for closure in person, our volunteers did not get to say good-bye to the students that they knew and worked with this school year. This message is to celebrate your commitment to our school community. On behalf of Linn-Mar Community Schools, we thank you for your continued support.
Please take care of yourself, focus on your family and relationships and we will continue to plan for when we are together again.
