Melissa Bray to be Presented With Educational Partner Award

Melissa Bray, a Little Lions teacher at Linn Grove Elementary, has won Grant Wood Area Education Agency’s 2017 Educational Partner Award!

The award will be presented to Mrs. Bray at the GWAEA annual awards banquet to be held May 3rd. Numerous candidates were considered for the award and Mrs. Bray was selected as the award winner by GWAEA staff.

This is the 28th year for the awards ceremony, which was established as a way for agency staff to show appreciation for local schools and citizens who provide exemplary educational leadership for children, and who demonstrate a partnering attitude in all they do. Honorees were nominated and chosen by agency staff.

Grant Wood AEA’s Kelly Varnum and Laura McGraw nominated Mrs. Bray for the award.
