Megan Burke-Brunscheen Named Associate Director of Student Services

Linn-Mar proudly welcomes Megan Burke-Brunscheen to our Student Support Services Team.

The Student Support Services Department oversees a wide range of district operations including Special Education and Student Assistance Programs, Health Services, English Language Learners, School Counselors, School Safety and Student Wellness.  

Ms. Burke-Brunscheen comes to us from the Grant Wood Area Education Agency. She brings a wealth of experience having served as a Special Education Consultant.

Prior to that, she served as the Transition Support and Coordinator for Career Connections for the 32 school districts that make up the Grant Wood service area.

Ms. Burke-Brunscheen is a former principal in the Olin Community School District, and began her career as a 4th grade teacher at Midland Community. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Clarke University.
