Mayor AbouAssaly Conducts Wind Ensemble

It was a wonderful season of Holiday Concerts at Linn-Mar High School! The sixteen curricular music ensembles, including 4 orchestras, 5 bands, and 7 choirs presented 5 Holiday Concerts in December.

Holiday Concert V was the final concert in the series with highlights including the world premiere of Solstice by Dr. Aaron Perrine, written for Symphony Strings, a preview performance of some of Chamber Singers’ music being prepared for their upcoming performance at the American Choral Directors Association Regional Conference in Omaha, and Marion Mayor, Nick AbouAssaly conducting Wind Ensemble. Mayor Nick is a 1985 graduate of Linn-Mar High School and was an active member of the music department during his time here.
