LMHS Students Participate in STEM Day

Linn-Mar High School students have a greater appreciation for science, as a result of S.T.E.M. day. 

S.T.E.M. stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

From Crime Scene Investigation, to Medicine, to the Computer Technology needed to make the Capt. Crunch production line run smoothly, a total of 34 professionals shared their knowledge and answered student questions about the role science plays in their careers.  

This year’s S.T.E.M. Day was a cooperative project with the Linn-Mar High School Science Department and the Workplace Learning Connection.
