LMHS Students Discover Neuroscience Careers

Over 50 students from the high school’s HOSA club, Future Health Professionals, hosted speakers from the University of Iowa Neuroscience Department.

The event, held in the High School’s Lecture Hall, provided students an opportunity to ask questions about the field of neuroscience and future opportunities within the career path.

The students also learned about the neuroscience program’s Brain Bee competition. It will be held at the University of Iowa on February 12th.

The HOSA Club is open to all Linn-Mar High School students. Anyone interested can contact the club sponsor, Biology Instructor Chad Lechner.
