LMHS Speech Teams Advance to State Competition

For the first time in 16 years, the Linn-Mar Choral Reading team is advancing to state!  They will join 12 other events that will represent Linn-Mar at the State Speech Contest at LMHS on Saturday, February 3rd.

The team also took the top spot at districts in Monticello with One-Act Play, Reader’s Theatre, two varsity radio broadcasts, TV news, ensemble acting, two short films, a group mime, varsity improv, and the freshman ensemble acting performance.

The following groups received a Division II rating. While they are not advancing to state, we congratulate them on their performances!

We invite you to stop by and enjoy the event February 3. There will be over 100 schools in attendance in addition to students, coaches, parents and other family members.
