LMHS’ Bella Voce to Perform at ACDA Regional Conference
Linn-Mar High School’s treble chorus Bella Voce has been selected to perform at the American Choral Directors Association’s regional conference in Milwaukee.
Each year, choral directors from Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio submit recordings from their elite ensembles for the opportunity to perform at this prestigious event.
Bella Voce is one of 17 choirs selected to perform at the conference and the only high school treble ensemble selected.
The ensemble is made up of 41 sophomores, juniors, and seniors who were selected from more than 400 students who auditioned for the choir.
The group is one of the high school’s seven curricular choirs and is under the direction of Trent Buglewicz.
Prior to their March 6, 2020 performance at the Marcus Center-Uihlein Hall in Milwaukee, the group will perform a farewell concert at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at the Linn-Mar High School Auditorium.
