LMHS Associate Athletic Director Honored
Tonya Moe, Associate Athletic Director and Athletic Facilities Administrator at Linn-Mar High School, has been recognized as a Certified Athletic Administrator by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA).
Ms. Moe is one of an elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nationwide to attain this level of professionalism.
“I am always looking for ways to continue to grow professionally so I can provide the best opportunities for our student-athletes, coaches and programs. The certifications that the NIAAA offers Athletic Directors are fantastic and I wanted to take advantage of the opportunities that this organization offers. I hope to be able to implement what I have learned and also personally become a better leader.” Moe said.
In making the announcement, the NIAAA added, “Tonya has demonstrated the highest level of knowledge and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration.”
The NIAAA represents state athletic administrator associations from across the country. It is dedicated to promoting the professional growth of high school athletic administrators and preserving the educational nature of interscholastic athletics in the secondary school curriculum.
