LM Board Earns Team Achievement Award

The Linn-Mar Board of Directors was recognized with the Team Achievement Award by the Iowa Association of School Boards (IASB).  A plaque is presented to an entire board when a majority of its members receive Individual Award of Achievement certificates for the year, and the board has a policy that supports board development. All seven Linn-Mar Board members were recognized for individual achievement.

The award was presented during the IASB Annual Convention in Des Moines. “I am impressed with the high standard of service that these board teams are setting for their peers across the state”, said Elizabeth Brennan, IASB Board President.

Linn-Mar was one of only 30 districts across the state recognized for the honor. Congratulations!
