Linn-Mar’s Success Center Volunteers To End Hunger

Linn-Mar’s Success Center Students volunteer every week to help end food insecurity by packing 300 backpacks filled with food through HACAP’s Backpack Program.

Linn-Mar’s Success Center students range from 18-21 years old and helps students focus on skills that are necessary for independent living, vocational experiences, community involvement, and academics to support their journey into adulthood and the workplace. “We feel volunteering with HACAP is a win-win. Our students gain essential employable skills while doing good for others.” – Success Center Staff

This year, HACAP Food Reservoir distributed more than 10 million pounds of food with the help of nearly 2,450 volunteers like the Linn-Mar Success Center students.
