Linn-Mar Welcomes New Teachers for 2021-22

It’s the first major step toward the new school year, as we welcome the new teachers to Linn-Mar.

District Superintendent Shannon Bisgard welcomed the 51 new certified staff members, including teachers, counselors, administrators, and nurses. They will undergo two days of district orientation before they join the entire staff for even more training and classroom preparation.

In addition to the incoming teachers, Linn-Mar is welcoming 22 classroom associates, 8 new members to our nutrition services team, and two more in our transportation department.

They will all be ready for our first day of school on Monday, August 23rd for grades kindergarten through 9th grade. 10th through 12th-grade students start the new year on Tuesday, August 24th.
