Linn-Mar Students Selected for OPUS Honor Choirs

A total of 27 Linn-Mar students have been chosen for participation in the 32nd annual Iowa Opus Honor Choir Festival.

Nearly 3,000 students were nominated by their directors statewide, for 720 positions in the four Opus Honor Choirs.

Linn-Mar will be represented by two 9th grade High School Students, 20 Middle School Students, and 5 Elementary Students.

The four choirs consist of: The 5th and 6th Grade Honor Choir, The 7th and 8th Grade Treble Clef Choir, The 7th and 8th Grade Bass Clef Honor Choir and the 9th Grade Mixed Honor Choir.

The students will perform at the Opus Honor Choir Festival, Thursday, November 15th at 4 PM at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium in Ames.
