Linn-Mar Returning to Hybrid after Holidays
Linn-Mar families,
Monday, December 21st, The Linn-Mar School Board met last night and decided to return to school in the A/B Hybrid Learning model district-wide from Monday, January 4th through Thursday, January 7th; with January 4th being an “A” day.
On Friday, January 8th all students in PreK-6th grades will transition back to onsite learning while 7th-12th grade students will continue in the Hybrid Learning model through the end of second quarter; which is January 29th.
If families had previously signed up and were approved for virtual learning, they will be able to stay with that plan.
We wanted to communicate this update to the Return-to-Learn Plan before winter break so everyone could plan ahead. Although we cannot predict the COVID numbers and recognize they may change over the course of the next three weeks, we feel this “soft start” plan will allow us the necessary flexibility to be prepared if circumstances do change after the holidays.
We appreciate your cooperation as we continue to work together to help keep everyone safe during the pandemic. If you have any questions, please reach out to info@linnmar.k12.ia.us.
