“Ring the Bell” Homecoming Week 2024

Linn-Mar’s Homecoming Week is from September 23 to September 28. This year’s theme is “Ring the Bell,” featuring the presentation of the newly restored Armstrong Bell. Below you will find the list of scheduled events for Homecoming Week.

Schedule of Events

Parade

Date: Wednesday, September 25
Time: 5:15 p.m.
Route: The parade will begin at the North Parking Lot of the high school, proceed north on 10th Street, turn onto Barrington Parkway, continue onto 3rd Street, turn onto 29th Avenue, and return to the North Parking Lot. A map of the parade route is below.

Powder Puff Game

Date: Thursday, September 26
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Linn-Mar Stadium
Matchup: Juniors vs. Seniors

Pep Rally

Date: Friday, September 27
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Location: High School Main Gym
Notes This will also feature performances from the Linn-Mar Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and Poms, along with competitions among classes, clubs, and sports teams.

Football Game

Date: Friday, September 27
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Linn-Mar Stadium
Matchup: Linn-Mar Lions vs. Cedar Falls Tigers
Tickets: $7 admission (tickets can be purchased through the Bound app)
Note: This will also feature performances from the Linn-Mar Marching Lions, Cheerleaders, and Poms

Homecoming Dance

Date: Saturday, September 28
Time: 8:00-10:30 p.m.
Location: High School Main Gym
Cost: $8 per person (tickets are available for sale on 9/23 and can be purchased through the Bound app or with cash/card on the day of the dance at the door)
Note: The LMHS Homecoming Dance is for LMHS students only; no guests are allowed.
