Linn-Mar Hazel Point Band Honored

The Hazel Point 6th Grade Band is one of only four ensembles in the state selected as an IBA Honor Band.  The student’s award-winning performance will be presented at the 94th Annual VIRTUAL Iowa Bandmasters Association Conference in May 2021.

Under the leadership of Kevin Makinster and Stephanie Nuss, these Hazel Point students will represent all Elementary bands at the IBA Conference as they prepare to perform virtually for approximately 1,200 musicians and music educators attending the 2021 Virtual Conference: Celebrating our Connections.
