Linn-Mar Earns Award for Financial Reporting Excellence

For the 21st consecutive year, Linn-Mar Community School District has earned the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO).

The award recognizes the district’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, and reflects Linn-Mar’s ongoing commitment to transparency and high-quality financial reporting.

“We’re proud to have been recognized for 21 consecutive years for our commitment to excellence in financial reporting,” said Superintendent Amy Kortemeyer. “This award highlights the hard work of our Business Office and our continued efforts to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.”

The Certificate of Excellence is considered the gold standard in school financial reporting. ACFRs submitted for the award undergo a rigorous review by a panel of experienced financial professionals who evaluate them for accuracy, clarity and completeness. Feedback is also provided to help improve future reports.
