Linn-Mar Commencement to be held “The Traditional Way” with Modifications

Linn-Mar High School will host a traditional commencement ceremony this year, Sunday, May 30th, 2021.

It will take place at 1:00 PM at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse, formerly known as the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Cedar Rapids.    

All graduates and guests will be required to follow all public health guidelines.

More specific information regarding the ceremony will be coming in the next few weeks. At this time, we anticipate that each graduate will be given a specified number of tickets for parents/guardians to attend. We are working with the Alliant Energy Powerhouse staff to ensure that social distancing is possible for those in attendance.  

For those who cannot attend in person, the ceremony will be broadcast live on KCRG 9.2.
