Linn-Mar Band Earns Funds for Instruments

A recent fundraiser by the Linn-Mar Band Department brought in just over ten thousand dollars for the award-winning program. The money raised will be used to update the band’s instrument inventory.

High school band directors, Aaron Nuss, Dan Terrill, and Jennifer Tiede say the band is always looking to supplement their low reeds (bass clarinets, baritone saxophones, bassoons), low brass (bass trombones, euphoniums, tubas), and percussion instruments.

The Linn-Mar Band Department made up of 405 students worked with Custom Fundraising Solutions on the mattress fundraiser that took place in early November.
