Linn-Mar to Assess Additional Options For Restructuring Plan

After two months of working with our design partners OPN Architects, the leadership team at Linn-Mar has decided to pause to take a closer look at the restructuring plan we proposed in October.

Through meetings with the design team, facility tours and assessments, and asking ourselves some tough questions, we’ve learned a lot that we didn’t know four months ago. As a result, the leadership team has also concluded that there is more to understand before they can propose a plan that truly takes a holistic view of all the district’s existing facilities as well as future needs.

At this time our goal of a September 12 bond referendum vote remains unchanged. It is our tasks between now and then that have shifted. We will continue to work with OPN to assess the previously identified buildings as well as others in our district. We will look at our facility, curriculum, and student needs from all angles.
