Linn-Mar Administrative Promotion
As Linn-Mar continues to meet the need of students and to sustain future growth, effective July 1st, 2021, Bob Read will take on additional responsibilities as an Associate Superintendent for the Linn-Mar Community School District.

Experience
Mr. Read’s career at Linn-Mar began in 1991. He spent eight years as a 4th Grade Teacher at Indian Creek Elementary, seven years as a 6th Grade Teacher at Excelsior Middle School and was a Math Teacher and a Football and Track Coach at Linn-Mar High School.
Bob spent the last decade as an administrator at Linn-Mar as the Director of Middle School Teaching and Learning and as the Director of Innovation. For the 2020-21 school year, Bob took on additional responsibilities as the Online School Principal.
Education
Bob, graduated from Linn-Mar in 1983, and served as a parent in the district while his three kids graduated from Linn-Mar. Bob received his BA in Elementary Education from Luther College and received his Masters in Mathematics for the Middle Grades from UNI in 1999. He also earned his Advanced Studies Certificate (ASC) in Principalship in 2013 and his ASC in Superintendency in 2018 from UNI.
