L-M Transportation Gears Up for New School Year

Forty Linn-Mar buses and seven vans will be ready for their daily routes starting on the first day of school later this month. In total, the district has 62 buses and 12 vans.

Before that first day, the Linn-Mar transportation department offers these reminders to parents.

If your student lives in an area that is eligible for transportation services, they will be automatically assigned to a bus route (except juniors and seniors). Please see the Transportation web page if you have a junior or senior.

Bus passes, including busing information, will be mailed out to homes beginning August 13th.

Families new to the district are reminded to make sure their children are registered at their new school before contacting the transportation department with any questions.

If you have a student who needs transportation to/from daycare or if your high school junior or senior is in need of busing, please visit the Transportation Department webpage. These arrangements do not carry over from year to year and must be renewed.  The page offers a variety of ways that you can submit these requests.
