Indian Creek Receives Special Honor
Congratulations to the students and staff of Indian Creek Elementary. Indian Creek has earned a Level 2 certification of High-Reliability Schools as designated by Marzano Resources.
Level 2 certification means Indian Creek has established “Effective Teaching in Every Classroom,” which focuses on the responsibility of both school leaders and teachers in ensuring high-quality instruction.
Associate Superintendent of Elementary Education, Bob Read said, “We continue to be so impressed with the team spirit our schools create building-wide in their effort to earn this honor. Special congratulations to Principal Kelly Kretschmar and the entire staff at Indian Creek on a job well done.”.
The high-reliability school (HRS) program was created by Marzano Resources to help
transform schools into organizations that take proactive steps to ensure student success.
This framework, based on 50 years of educational research, defines progressive levels of
performance that a school must master to become an HRS—where all students learn the content
and skills they need for success in college, careers, and beyond.
