Homecoming 2021-United We Win!

The 2021 Linn-Mar Homecoming Celebration is HERE!!!

Be sure to join us for these exciting events that are open to the public!

The Homecoming Parade

Wednesday, September 15th @ 5:15 PM

The parade will follow the traditional route.

It begins in the high school’s south parking lot, travels north on 10th Street, and turns west on Barrington Parkway. From there it goes south on 3rd Street before turning east on 29th Avenue, back to the Linn-Mar main campus.

Drivers using these streets should be prepared for long waits at intersections during the parade. The parade traditionally runs for approximately 30 minutes.

Students, staff, and visitors are reminded to move their cars from the high school’s south parking lot by 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 15th. Parade participants are asked to be in place in the south parking lot staging area by 4:30 PM.

The LRC will close Wednesday at 3:30.

The Powderpuff Game

Wednesday, September 15th @ Approximately 6:15 PM

Wednesday night’s activities will wrap up with the annual Powderpuff game. It will be played at the stadium following the parade. LMHS girls from the senior class will challenge girls from the junior class on the gridiron for bragging rights.

The Homecoming Football Games 

Friday, September 17th  Starting at 5:00 PM

Our sophomore and varsity teams will take on Cedar Rapids Washington at Linn-Mar Stadium on Friday, September 17th. The sophomore game starts at 5:00 PM. The varsity game will begin around 7:15 PM.
