LRC Sprinkler System: Chief Financial and Operating Officer J.T. Anderson shared an update on the project which has been separated into phases. The first priority will be to install sprinklers on the third floor by December 15 so that students will be able to occupy those spaces at the beginning of the second semester. The cost of the first phase of the project is estimated to be less than $100,000. Phase two of the project will be to install fire suppression on the bottom floor of the LRC during the summer of 2018. The district will go through the competitive quote process again in the winter/spring to determine the contractor for the second phase.
