Girls Swimming and Diving Heading to State

We want to give a shoutout to the Girls Swimming and Diving Team. They qualified for state in eleven events.

200 Free: Lucy Haars (so), Lilly Weber (sr), Emily Brennom (jr)
200 IM: Hayley Kimmel (jr)
50 Free: Lily Haars (sr)
100 Fly: Maura Carstensen (fr)
100 Free: Lucy Haars (so), Lilly Haars (sr)
500 Free: Lilly Weber (sr), Emily Brennom (jr)
100 Breaststroke: Hayley Kimmel (jr)

Linn-Mar also qualified in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay.

The State Diving Meet will be held Friday, November 12 starting at 11:00 AM at the YMCA in Marshalltown. The preliminary swimming events will take place on Friday, November 12 at 5:00 p.m. The State Swimming Finals (including all state qualifying relay events) will be held at noon on Saturday, November 13. Tickets are $10.00 for each session and are being sold electronically through Varsity Bound.
