Free Child Care & Family Meal Offered at Parenting Class

The Iowa State Extension’s Parent Education Consortium (PEC) is here to support you in your very important role. Being a parent. Through free meetings that take place over a six-week period, you will learn about a variety of topics including understanding child development, teaching responsibility and communicating with your kids.

This class is being offered at Linn Grove Elementary on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m, starting October 1st. These workshops are designed for the parents of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten age children (birth-5 years old).

Parents and children meet in a small group setting with expert parent educators. Workshops are completely free and include a family meal and program materials.
