FBLA Students Attend State Fall Leadership Conference

Linn-Mar High School students had the opportunity to attend the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Fall Leadership Conference in Des Moines.

The conference was kicked off by keynote speaker, Colonel Timothy Glenn, who spoke to the group about ethics in leadership.

The students participated in several workshops over the two-day event with a focus on leadership building, team building, college prep, and membership recruitment. To wrap up the first night, there was a networking dinner and dance.

The following morning, the group attended a leadership challenge course at Camp Dodge.  The students went on a business tour where they met up with the owner of Zombie Burger.

The conference proved to be an enlightening experience for the next generation of business leaders who are receiving valuable training here at Linn-Mar!
