FBLA Qualifies for Nationals

At its State Convention, the Linn-Mar Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter was presented with a first place award for its fundraising efforts. The group sponsored a building-wide campaign for the March of Dimes.  

In addition to this special honor, a dozen FBLA students qualified for the National Competition in Atlanta to take place in June.

• Riya Anand, Krishna Modha, Ranvitha Muramreddy, and Jace Whitman placed first in Parliamentary Procedures
• Bre Johnson and Ashna Karia came placed second in Marketing
• Ashna Karia also placed second in Impromptu Speaking
• Tanvi Gopalam and Devasena Maninkandan placed second in Public Service Announcement
• Keerthana Balakrishnan placed third in Social Media Strategies
• Matieis Mayes and  Pranav Karthik placed third in Business Plan and fourth in E-Business
• Alexys Ciha placed fourth as a Future Business Leader
