Erica Rausch Named Director of Middle School Teaching and Learning

Erica Rausch has been named as director of middle school teaching and learning for the Linn-Mar Community School District. Rausch will assume her new responsibilities July 1.

As the Director of Middle School Teaching and Learning, Rausch will be responsible for middle school curriculum, instruction and assessment. “I’m very excited to take on this role,” Rausch stated, “I’ll have an even greater opportunity to make a positive impact at this grade level.”

According to Rausch, this position will enable her to work with students and staff at both Linn-Mar’s middle schools. “My passion has always been this grade level of kids,” she said, “I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this position will offer.”

Rausch began her career in education as a teacher with Linn-Mar in 1996. She has also served as Oak Ridge Middle School’s principal and as an associate principal. Rausch earned her Master of Science degree in Administration from Drake University in 2000.
