Chamber Singers Selected for Prestigious Performance

Linn-Mar High School’s Chamber Singers have been selected to perform at the 2023 Midwestern Region American Choral Directors Association Conference this coming year in Omaha, Nebraska.

Chamber Singers is one of Linn-Mar High School’s seven curricular choirs and is directed by Trent Buglewicz. The auditioned ensemble is made up of sophomore through senior voices selected from the around 400 singing students at Linn-Mar High School. After submitting recordings from 2020, 2021, and 2022 as part of their application,

Each year, choral directors from Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio submit their elite ensembles for an opportunity to perform at this prestigious event. Chamber Singers is one of 15 choirs selected for the conference.

The choir will perform on Friday, February 9th at 1:30 p.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha. They plan to perform a farewell concert for friends and family on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 at 7:15 p.m. in the Linn-Mar High School Auditorium.
