Celebrating the Flag

Members of American Legion Post 298 were special guests at Boulder Peak Intermediate. 

They met with 5th-grade students to review the importance of a sense of Americanism and flag etiquette.

The Legion members presented the students with desk-top flags and demonstrated the proper way to fold a full-sized flag.

The students shared essays they had written about the flag.
