Celebrating STEAM University at Elementary Libraries
In January, the elementary libraries are celebrating our student innovators, creators, and coders during STEAM University!
At Bowman Woods, students and families have donated 450+ milk and water jugs to create a reading igloo in the library! Students have been so excited in seeing the structure develop and now that it is done, it is a fun place to read! The igloo was created to ignite creativity and innovative thinking!
During the month of January, students will be listening to books about coding and creativity. They will also be working with robots to code and makerspace materials to create things like marble runs. STEAM University at Bowman Woods is right at home in the library!
